Jessica Swafford is a poet from Georgetown, KY. Her work has most recently appeared in AvantAppal(achia), Whisperings in the Wind, and the anthologies: The Heavy Lifting and The Messenger is Sudden Thunder. She was the 2017 recipient of the Katerina Stoykova scholarship for the Poetry Gauntlet, a year-long generative workshop, and the winner of the 2014 May B. Smith Essay Contest.
